Seascapes Bira is an intentionally small property — we have three rooms and we intend to keep it that way. Each room is individually designed with local materials, a private terrace, and a view of the water. Frequently Asked Questions

Is breakfast included?

Yes. A cooked-to-order breakfast is included with every room, served daily 7:30am–11:00am. We use fresh local produce wherever possible.

Do I need to be a diver to stay?

Not at all. Many guests come purely for the resort, the restaurant, and the beach. Tanjung Bira has beautiful beaches, Bugis boat-building villages, and nearby islands. Diving is simply one more reason to come.

How do I get from Makassar?

The drive from Makassar is approximately 5–6 hours by private car or bus. See our Location & Directions page for full details — or WhatsApp us to help arrange transport.

Can I book for one night?

Yes, subject to availability. That said, given the 5–6 hour journey, most guests find two to three nights is the sweet spot — enough time to dive, eat well, and settle into the Bira pace of life.

Do you have a pool?

We don't have a pool — we have the Celebes Sea. Bara Beach is directly accessible from the property and the water is warm, clear, and calm for most of the year.
